Daniel Metzler is Co-Founder and CEO of Isar Aerospace, a Germany based company developing orbital launch vehicles designed for smallsat constellation deployment. The company is aiming to lower the barriers for space access through automated rocket production and is backed by investors such as former SpaceX VP Bulent Altan, Lakestar and Earlybird.

Daniel previously led a team of 40 students developing sounding rockets at the Technical University of Munich’s rocketry research group WARR. Next to his degrees in mechanical and aerospace engineering he also developed multiple web services.
